Explaining the collaborative post with H&M Move, Fonda wrote: “Movement is not just about Ahem, it’s a blessing. Let’s move together in 2023.’

In the segment, she also sat down to talk about the importance of making time to move each day.

She said, “If I’m walking and working out, I don’t feel my age.”

The two-time Academy Award winner also told Elle in a recent interview that she still does the exercises from the Jane Fonda Workout videos to stay healthy.

“It still fits today because it really works. I’m 85 now and I can’t do the full workout by itself, but I do the same movements just slower and with less weight, every single day,” she said.

“You want to be able to carry your grandkids,” she added, on the subject of staying healthy and staying active. “And I can still do it.”

In the past, she said she exercises to look a certain way, but now she does it for her physical and mental health.

“Wanting to be thin is not a good thing,” said the book club star — who has spoken candidly about her struggles with bulimia in the past. “It’s not good for your health, and it’s not good for your brain to be so deprived.”

She added, “Someone in bed with you might not like you either, because you could get hurt in those hip bones!”
